Brian J. Wanamaker
Mr. Wanamaker joined the firm in 2011 after several years in practice in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Wanamaker's practice with the Chicago office of Winston & Strawn LLP included both civil and criminal cases, including white-collar matters. He was a member of his firm's appellate and critical motions practice group and successfully briefed and argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. United States v. Otero, 502 F.3d 331 (3d Cir. 2005).
Mr. Wanamaker has also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Philip P. Simon, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the Honorable Norma McGee Ogle on the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.
He received his law degree from Washington University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Quarterly. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Knoxville Bar Association, and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
